Purim Family Celebration

Sunday, March 9th
12:30pm - 3:00pm
Crane Creek

We all enjoyed a festive and fun-filled Purim celebration to honor this joyous holiday with laughter, tradition, and friendship.
The puppet show was clever and funny - enjoyed by all. Many thanks to our very own Master Puppeteer Len Levitt!

Purim is one of the most joyful and festive holidays in Jewish tradition, often called the "Jewish Carnival."

It celebrates the ancient biblical story of Queen Esther, who courageously saved the Jewish people from an evil plot to destroy them, as told in the Book of Esther. But you didn't have to be Jewish to join the fun!

At a Purim celebration, you’ll find:

- Costumes (since Esther hid her Jewish identity until the right time, we dress-up).

- Delicious treats, especially hamantaschen, triangle-shaped pastries filled with fruit or chocolate.

- Lively retelling of the story of Esther’s life and music.

- Games, activities, and joy for all ages!

Purim is about community, laughter, and standing up for what’s right. Whether you love history, food, dressing up, or just having fun, this was the perfect event to connect with friends and neighbors.
